1 Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how De-Influencer Tools ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the free browser-based tools available at https://deinfluencer.xyz/ (the "Website").
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), COPPA, and other applicable international data protection laws.
2 How Our Tools Work — What We Never See
De-Influencer operates three browser-based tools. All data processing happens locally on your device using your browser's built-in capabilities — no content is ever transmitted to our servers.
- URLs and links you paste into the URL Tracker Remover
- Images you open in the Image Compressor & Converter (uses HTML5 Canvas API locally)
- Any text or content you enter into the QR Code Generator
- Your URLs, links, or any content you process through our tools
- Your image files or their contents
- Your name, email, or personal identity (unless you contact us)
- Payment information (all tools are free)
- Passwords or login credentials (no accounts exist)
3 Information Collected via Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — provided by Google LLC — to understand how visitors use our Website. GA4 automatically collects the following anonymous usage data:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Browser and OS type, version, and screen resolution
- Device type — mobile, tablet, or desktop
- Country or region — derived from your anonymized IP address (GA4 anonymizes IP addresses by default and does not store full IP addresses)
- Referral URL — the website you visited before arriving here
- Language preference — your browser's language setting
- Session data — new vs. returning visitor, session duration
This information is aggregated and anonymous. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
4 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our Website uses only the analytics cookies listed below, set by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, remarketing cookies, or any other third-party trackers.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Distinguishes unique visitors for Google Analytics | 2 years | |
| Stores session state for GA4 | 2 years | |
| Distinguishes unique visitors (shorter window) | 24 hours |
You can block or delete these cookies at any time through your browser settings or by using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
5 How We Use the Information
Analytics data is used solely for internal purposes:
- Understanding which tools are used most and how
- Measuring overall website traffic and performance
- Identifying technical errors or usability problems
- Improving the Website's content and user experience
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or any commercial purpose.
6 Third-Party Services
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA)
Google receives the analytics data described in Section 3. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. Google operates under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers from the EU/EEA. Review: Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses partner-site data.
Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA)
Our Website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser sends a request to Google's servers to download font files, which may include your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Tailwind CSS CDN (Tailwind Labs)
The Tailwind CSS framework is loaded from a content delivery network (CDN). Your browser contacts the CDN to download the stylesheet, which may log your IP address.
7 Google Analytics Opt-Out
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by:
- Installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on
- Using a browser extension such as uBlock Origin that blocks analytics scripts
- Using a privacy-focused browser (e.g., Brave) or enabling Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" setting (note: GA4 does not guarantee it honors this signal)
- Disabling JavaScript — though this may break tool functionality
8 International Data Transfers
Our Website is accessible worldwide. Analytics data collected via Google Analytics may be transferred to and processed on Google's servers in the United States and other countries. Google complies with applicable data transfer mechanisms, including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. By using our Website, you acknowledge that your analytics data may be processed outside your country of residence under protections equivalent to those in your jurisdiction.
9 Data Retention
Our Google Analytics 4 property retains user and event data for 14 months after which it is automatically and permanently deleted by Google. We do not maintain any other databases, logs, or data stores containing user information. Because our tools are fully client-side, no session data, tool inputs, or outputs are ever stored by us.
